From Burnout to Healing – A Personal Journey

Twenty years ago, my life reached a point of chaos. Burnout, constant anxiety, and the deep grief of losing my mother left me broken and searching for answers. I tried to keep going, to keep “functioning” as if nothing had changed, but inside I was struggling every single day.
It was during this time that I discovered yoga, breathwork, and somatic practices. At first, they felt small—gentle movements, mindful breathing, moments of stillness. But slowly, they became my medicine. They supported not only my body but also my nervous system, my mind, and my ability to simply be.
Healing didn’t come overnight. It was not fast, but it was real. Over time, somatic practice gave me a sense of connection back to myself, and yoga became the path that helped me rebuild from the inside out. This experience laid the foundation for what I do today with Jade Treen Somatics—helping others find calm, strength, and balance through the same practices that changed my life.
